
Little Prodigy is directed by Maribel Gomez. “Mrs. Maribel” began LP in 2001. Graduating from Westminster Choir College as a member of the famed Westminster Choir, majoring in Voice Performance. Among her many accomplishments she has served terms as President, and now Vice President of the Treasure Coast Music Teachers Association and is a member of Palm Beach Music Teachers Association, National Music Teachers Association, and American College of Musicians. Mrs. Maribel is often invited to instruct music workshops and is frequently a judge in music competitions. She has served as Music Director at her local church as well as in adult and children’s music ministry for over a decade. Mrs. Gomez was also the Director/Principal of the Stuart, FL Classical Conversations, a K- 12 Homeschooling group. She has successfully “homeschooled” her own 4 children. From the very beginning, she has dedicated herself to the development of her students and studio.

Alexa Soriano began her career as a dancer at Dance Academy of Stuart studying all styles from ballet, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Tap and Jazz. In the past six plus years she has choreographed for various local high schools, church groups and has been hired as a private instructor for students preparing for college auditions. She has been the principal dance instructor for Little Prodigy for over five years, choreographing Medleys such as Hamilton, Wizard of Oz and Hair Spray. She assisted in choreographing and performed for Speak Life, the Musical, a nonprofit organization for anti-bullying awareness. Alexa is also classically trained in vocal and piano and is one of our principal instructors here at Little Prodigy.

With a career spanning four decades of national touring and studio recording, Johnny brings elite-level expertise to Little Prodigy. From leading drum lines in his youth to recording major motion picture soundtracks in L.A., his journey has been defined by musical excellence.
His career began in Los Angeles, where he arranged and recorded for rock and blues acts, eventually appearing on two nationally released albums and two international motion picture soundtracks. Since 2006, Johnny has shared his talents as the Assistant Worship Leader at Saint Lucie Catholic Church.
At Little Prodigy, Johnny offers a fun, engaging environment for drum and ukulele students. His drum method combines "real world" stage experience with a focus on the "Essential Six"—basics, rudiments, stick control, syncopation, timing, and musicality. Additionally, Johnny is a passionate advocate for the ukulele as a tool for music literacy. His unique pedagogical approach starts with melody and single-note picking, expanding into harmony and improvisation to ensure students become well-rounded musicians. Johnny believes music is for everyone and aims to develop lifelong literacy skills in every student he meets.

Nelson Noel has been playing guitar for several years and has had the opportunity to perform live professionally, gaining real-world experience both on stage and in collaborative settings. Music has always been something Nelson genuinely loves, and that passion carries directly into his lessons. He enjoys helping students build confidence, understand what they're playing, and develop their own connection to the instrument. As a teacher, Nelson focuses on creating a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace. Whether working with beginners or more experienced players, his goal is simple, to share his love for music and help others enjoy the process of learning guitar.

Sharon brings a warm, foundational approach to the piano. She has a Master's Degree in music and specializes in helping students of all ages develop technical proficiency while fostering a genuine, lifelong love for both classical and contemporary music.

Skyler offers an energetic and modern approach to string instruments. Her lessons focus on making the ukulele and guitar accessible and fun, tailoring every session to the unique musical interests of her students.

Abigail Rosendahl serves as a music instructor specializing in violin, piano, and voice for students from elementary through high school. Her musical journey began at age four with the violin, leading to a lifelong commitment to orchestral performance that spans from middle school to collegiate symphonies and local ensembles. While in college, Abigail expanded into formal choral studies, culminating in a performance of Mozart’s Requiem at Carnegie Hall.
Today, she remains an active musician within her church choir and local community. Her teaching approach is informed by both her rigorous musical background and specialized leadership training, allowing her to offer a thoughtful, student-centered experience. Abigail is passionate about building strong technical foundations while fostering the confidence, creativity, and personal growth of every young musician.


Evren is passionate about sharing the gift of music. He focuses on making piano practice approachable and rewarding, helping new students build confidence and rhythm week by week.

Kara brings enthusiasm and a fresh perspective to the studio. She enjoys guiding students through the basics of piano while sharing her genuine love for musical performance and theory.

Larry has taught and played guitar, bass, ukulele and mandolin for several years. In addition to teaching privately, Larry has owned three music schools with 120 students and six teachers. Primarily he taught his students to read music as well as how to play the popular songs of the day.
Beyond that, he has taught individual private lessons and classes of up to 25 students at a time
He takes a very deep interest in each student as a musician and an individual.
